Areas Of Focus
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward? Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, or the emotional weight of past experiences, therapy can offer grounding, clarity, and change.
Over the past eight years, I’ve supported individuals and families in youth protection, residential centres, and CLSCs. These experiences have shaped my understanding of how our environments, histories, and relationships influence our mental health across all stages of life.
My approach is warm, steady, and collaborative. I tailor each session to the person in front of me, helping clarify patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build practical tools for well-being. I draw from family systems theory, client-centred and strengths-based models, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based counselling, and EMDR to support healing, resilience, and a deeper sense of self-connection.
I also work with adolescents and caregivers who may be navigating conflict, emotional overwhelm, or communication difficulties. When helpful, I involve parents or offer parental coaching to support co-regulation, clearer boundaries, collaborative problem-solving and healthier patterns at home.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or for your family, we’ll work together to create a space where you feel understood, grounded, and supported.
If you’re ready to get started, you can book a session directly. If you’d like to meet first, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
