Areas Of Focus

When life starts feeling like too much, when anxiety, low mood, hopelessness, or chaos in relationships make it hard to get through the day, it can be difficult to know where to turn. In our work together, I aim to offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and begin to see new possibilities for yourself. Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath your emotions, beliefs, and behaviours so that change feels meaningful and sustainable.

I bring my own lived experience with mental health into my work. Having navigated my own challenges, I understand how vulnerable it can feel to ask for help and to sit with difficult emotions. This perspective helps me approach clients with deep respect and care, reinforcing the belief that healing is possible, even when things feel overwhelming. At the heart of my approach is the belief that every part of you has a story and a reason it learned to cope the way it did. We’ll work collaboratively on strengthening emotional regulation, increasing self-compassion, and creating more balanced, connected relationships with yourself and others.

I use a Trauma-Informed lens and draw from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Parts Work, Somatic therapy, Mindfulness Practices, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to support you in understanding your inner world and building practical tools for daily life.  My approach is client-centered, rooted in the principles of harm reduction. As a result, our work will be tailored to your pace and priorities.

I have experience providing mental health counseling to both teens and adults navigating mental health challenges. My focus centers on helping individuals cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional mastery, and foster personal growth at their own pace.
